GHOSTS REQUIRE A BODY AND VAMPIRES BLOOD
AIASCT stands recognised.
It has taken more than 4 years for the process to be completed. The first set of DDO Certificates in the name of AIACEGEO had been submitted in January 2018. Then after protracted correspondence, meetings, etc, the Board decided that unless both claimants using the name of AIACEGEO come together, recognition could not be renewed in that name and hence both parties have to come with two different names to enable verification of their membership strength, based on which alone the renewal can be granted. This decision was on 3.12.2020. On the very night, our CEC had met online and adopted a new name AIASCT and also a Constitution and communicated it to the Board on 4.12.2020 and sought renewal of recognition in the new name. Fresh DDO certificates were obtained in that new name and submitted to the Board. The Board thereafter took its own time to verify and re-verify these DDO Certificates and has at last granted renewal of recognition of the Association in the name of AIASCT for five years from 13.4.2022.
In the meanwhile the other group which was falsifying their strength all along, instead of daring to adopt a new name and getting DDO Certificates in that name, went to CAT against the withdrawal or Recognition.
They have not understood that for an organisation, primary recognition should be from the majority of the membership it seeks to represent and then the administration is to take cognizance of only that organisation as the representative of the cadre. Even if they desire to attempt for the position of a SECOND Association as per CCS (RSA) Rules, they have to prove at least a strength of 15% membership in a new name other than AIACEGEO (for which as per the completed process, the AIASCT by virtue of majority of members supporting it are the inheritors).
Whoever fails to see the above legal position, is either ignorant or is having a vested interest to behave otherwise.
Now, knowing that the recognition matter is getting settled in favour of AIASCT, the other group wanted to get a recognition as AIACEGEO under the ‘Societies Act’. How very disparate!
As if these pranks are not enough, now they have harped upon litigation for 1.1.96.
On this already we are in the CAT Mumbai and the final hearings are on. The next hearing is on 14.07.2022.
The revision of 2004 itself had come only due to the combined movement of the COC of Revenue and tactical acceptance of prospective revision.
It is only from that point that the present CAT case in Mumbai is being pursued.
The present attempt by the other group to file fresh cases on the same issue, with insufficient knowledge and documents will torpedo the proceedings in the Mumbai CAT and any adverse findings due to such slip shod approach have a negative impact on the entire cadres.
It is for the people to realise that GHOSTS REQUIRE BODIES TO THRIVE ON AND VAMPIRES REQUIRE BLOOD.
So remain safe folks.

It is pathetic that Superintendents of Central Tax are retiring with only one promotion in the entire career of 35 years or more even though more than 1800 posts of Assistant/ Deputy Commissioners lying vacant.
ReplyDeleteStop demoralisation of the seniors.
Confederation of Central Govt Gazetted Officers Organisations (CCGGOO) extends support to the genuine demands of AIASCT.
CCGGOO requests Chairman,CBIC, Secretary (Revenue), Finance Minister & Prime Minister to find solution for the issues of acute stagnation & difficulties in the working conditions of Superintendents of Central Tax.
ReplyDeleteIt is deplorable that All India seniority list of Superintendents of Central Tax has not been issued even after a lapse of 15 years from 2007.
